Wedding Request

  All requests must be completed at least six months in advance. We highly recommend that you do not book your reception venue until you have confirmed your date with the church. Your wedding date will not be confirmed until after the territorial parish, Our Lady of the Holy Family at Notre Dame, gives final approval to proceed.
  Time allotments: All weddings are allowed 30 minutes prior to ceremony, 1 hr for the ceremony, and 15 minutes after ceremony. For example, 12:30pm entry for a 1pm start time and 2:15pm exit time.
  Requirements: At least one of the parties seeking the Sacrament of Marriage at Church of the Holy Family must be a member of the Saint Ignatius College Prep faculty or employee, an alumnus/alumna of Saint Ignatius or have a current, long-standing relationship with a member of USA Midwest Province of the Society of Jesus or Church of the Holy Family and provide a brief explanation of the nature of the relationship.
  
  In keeping with the laws of Canon, a letter is required by your pastor or proper ordinary granting permission for your wedding to take place at Church of the Holy Family (Canon Law Code 1115).
  
  In addition, because we are not a parish, we do not have priests, altar servers, Eucharistic ministers or musicians/cantors on staff. You will need to secure your own presider, sacristan or musician/cantor where needed.

  Fee for a wedding is $2,000. Once date is approved, $1,000 deposit is due to secure date.
  Note: all wedding documents must be completed and filed at Church of the Holy Family 60 days prior to scheduled wedding date.
  
  **CHURCH USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS AND IMAGES
  Unless individuals specifically prohibit the use of photographs, videos or other images of themselves taken at Church of the Holy Family or an event related to the church, the church assumes the right to use said photographs, images, and videos for promotion material, educational purposes, and church literature. Individuals must notify the church office in writing of their desire not to allow the church to use said material.
